Dr. Paula Schlemmer started her career as a general dentist before deciding to specialize in periodontics, and she looks forward to her long, rewarding career as a periodontist in Lincoln! Her favorite part of her job is taking the time to develop individualized plans for every patient and getting to know them on a personal level. This makes the dental journey much more productive and fulfilling at the same time, ensuring the process is just as great as the end result.
Dr. Schlemmer graduated with her bachelor’s in science with high honors from the University of Florida before earning her dental doctorate at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2017. She then received an Advanced Certificate in General Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She relocated to the great Midwest to complete her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate in Periodontology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Today, she is Board-Eligible by the American Board of Periodontology and currently works as part-time faculty for the periodontics residency.
